Partnering in Cameroon for God’s Kingdom

Typical Day ?
We sometimes get asked what a typical day in Cameroon is like for us. Well, since settling into life and ministry in Bamenda, we have discovered that there is no “typical” day. While we try to hold to some routines, each day is filled with new challenges and opportunities. That’s what serving people is all about anyway – meeting opportunities as they arise – most of which cannot be predicted in advance. Challenging and sometimes exhausting? Yes! Blessings in return? Definitely!
Meet George Ngwang If you come to Cal’s office on any given day, one of the first smiling faces you will see is that of George. If you have any questions about immigration, travel or lodging in Cameroon, George
will have the answer. George is responsible for all these details for hundreds of volunteers each year.
Work in the Field Director’s office would not be possible without him. George is married to Florence who lives and teaches in a town 100 km away. Baby Desma Joy, their first, will be one year on February 15th.
Good Bye, Lauren after being an integral part of our family for the past seven months, it’s time for cousin
Lauren to go home. Lauren was a Godsend during these months of transition and she fit into life here so naturally. She loves Cameroonian food (even chicken feet), Bamenda market, and was a blessing to many new friends here. We already miss you, Lauren. Thank you. Opportunity to bless consider reaching the least reached in Cameroon by partnering with national missionaries. The Cameroon Baptist Convention currently has missionaries in Muslim areas and wants to reach other areas as well. If you want to be a blessing in
this ministry you can give to the: CBC Missions Matching Fund by sending a check to the NAB address at the bottom , or on-line at: http://www.nabconference.org/pages.asp?pageid=1335
Prayer Corner:
1. Thank God for Lauren and her servant heart. Ask God to clearly write the next chapter of her life.
2. Thank God for George and all he does to assist the work. Ask God to unite his family by having
Florence transferred to Bamenda.
3. Ask God to give wisdom as we vision and goal set for His Kingdom’s work in Cameroon during the months and years to come. The opportunities are endless and wonderful.
