Our Staff

Lead Pastor:   Lyndon Dojohn

Pastor Lyndon began ministry at Lakeview in October of 1996.  He was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta and is a graduate of the University Of Alberta (BA, Psychology) and Edmonton Baptist Seminary (Mdiv).  He enjoys teaching God’s Word on a regular basis as well as providing pastoral care, counseling and general administration for the entire church.  Lyndon has enjoyed 16 years of marriage to his wife Suzanne and they have three great kids; Ben, Haley and Connor (as well as one goofy, little, black schnauzer, Cody).

Pastor of Worship and Fellowship:  Kevin Bessey

Pastor Kevin began ministry at Lakeview in January of 2008.  He was born and raised in Carstairs, Alberta and is a graduate of Briercrest Bible College (BA, Church Music).  Kevin leads our worship teams as they lead us in worship each week.  He is also gifted at instructing others to use their musical gifts in their various forms.  Kevin also has responsibilities in the Fellowship area of our church and loves to see people involved in small groups of various kinds and age groups from families to seniors.  Kevin is married to Alanna and they have two special little boys named, Titus and Carter.

Pastor of Student Ministries:  Chris Miller

Pastor Chris began ministry at Lakeview in June of 2008.  He was born and raised near Parksville,  British Columbia and is a graduate of Northwest Baptist College.  Chris understands and cares about youth of all ages.   Chris is married to Sheena and they have a new baby daughter named Makiah Kate.

Office Assistant:  Sheryl Johnston

Sheryl began ministry at Lakeview in the Fall of 2005.  She hails from Burnaby, British Columbia and has lived in the Okanagan for 17 years.  Sheryl helps our church function with many communicative and administrative tasks.  She is married to Ron, and they have five children, their oldest son, Steve and his wife Leah their son Parker and daughter, Ashlyn, their next son, Jeremy, daughter Amanda and their two youngest kids, Heather and Dan.
